Start with a visit to the village of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France. Continue with walks and hikes in the Iraty Mountain, the largest beech forest in Europe, with its lakes and wild animals. Continue your exploration of the Basque Country by visiting the Cave of La Verna and the Gorges de Kakuetta. Finally, immerse yourself in Basque culture by visiting an espadrille factory in Mauléon.

The Spanish border

L’hôtelier était exceptionnel! Il est très gentil and très agréable. Il a fait tout que il peux de nous aider. That was very helpful to us being in a foreign country and not understanding all of the language. Merci beaucoup

Hôtel très agréable, entièrement rénové récemment. Très bien accueillis par les propriétaires, charmants et souriants. La carte du restaurant est alléchante, de l’incontournable Garbure, l omelette aux cèpes et autres plats succulents, tout est fait « maison « . Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Un hôtel impeccable tenu par un couple on ne peut plus charmant, qui essaie spontanément d'être agréable et utile. Pas de camping à Saint Palais ? On le regrette bien sûr, mais cela m'a permis de découvrir cet hôtel.
